Suspended in a Sunbeam, the latest film from the makers of Smashed and Error 404, is a compelling and socially conscious story exploring exploitation and the fragile balance between love and control in a modern relationship.

When Kay and George meet at a party their lives are catapulted into disarray and Kay’s perspective on life and what it means to be free is changed for good. Exploring the complexity of relationships in an equally complex world, Suspended in a Sunbeam is a story about love lost and won, living versus existing and finding the hope in hopelessness.

Directed by Daniel Hill and featuring members of The Point Youth Theatre, Suspended in a Sunbeam will be shown in Secondary schools throughout Hampshire to open the way for intelligent and informed conversation about difficult subjects such as manipulation, exploitation and abuse and will be accompanied by an education pack of extensively researched activities informed by experts in this field.
